9 Interview for Italian MTV

An eighteen year old English girl asked me the first question....
"Well Ian, you done that big hit record 'Smokey Water', tell me all about it."

I realised there could be no more questions from this person, so I spoke for half an hour, ignoring signals, raised hands etc., allowing no interruptions, conveying the information I wanted the audience to know and adding details of the forthcoming record and Italian tour dates.

"Well", she said, "Ian Gillan you have led a very interesting life, full stop."
"Semi colon", I said.
A puzzled frown.....pause....."No,.... interesting life."
