39 Eric the great

A young Danish lad called Eric would have been very famous and changed the course of history.

He wasn't very well though and, unfortunately, died before he could fulfil his destiny.

n.b. In recent years, Eric has achieved posthumous notoriety for his sacrifice at the altar of quantum mechanics; whence he became, and is now universally accepted as, the greatest living exponent of 'chaos theory'.
